I Can Stay!!

My membership in Thousand Trails is one that allows me to stay in a park for 14 days, then I have to be out 7 days. I think there are different memberships, one I know you can stay for 3 weeks, then out 1 week. I talked to the park manager today about extending my stay as I can't move! She was very nice, and told me not to worry, I already had enough stress and problems. I can stay as long as needed, I will have to pay my electric. I happen to be on the only 50amp service in this row! Go figure, anyway it is $3.00 a day, so that is not so bad! The manager is even going to allow Jason, my repairman, to use their "maintenance barn" when the time comes to replace my roof. I think that is so nice. God is looking out after me! Now, I have to find a place to stay while he replaces the roof. They do have cabins here for rent, at $88.00 a night! I will have to go stay with friends, or relatives.
I went to the post office, and grocery store also. I am worn out. I think stress, but my bones hurt! It has been very cold here, and I turn my electric blanket on, and my electric heater in the bedroom, then wake up too warm! The furnace is set at 55, and didn't come on at all last night. It was chilly this morning and I turned it up to about 60, it ran for about 30 minuets, and never came back on. I think I am getting used to being "cool".
I tried to take a picture of my rig, but didn't get the roof, the sun was in my eyes. Maybe earlier in the day, I will try again.
All and all it was a good day!

  1. We had a new roof put on this summer, and thank God we had family to stay with. Our insurance would only pay $750.00 toward a hotel room, and we all know that would be gone in a week. It took them about 3 weeks to do ours, so be prepared. Good luck, and hope things go smoother for you.

  2. I hope things improve for you - it was nice of the park to let you stay on, so that is a plus. Life is always an adventure, and we tend to list the good things at the end of the day to stay focused. Best of luck to you. Cheers
