Wishful Thinking

This picture is from a couple of weeks ago when we actually got rain! It is 104 today with a heat index of 108, too hot. I dressed to go to the post office , took Kandi out, went to my truck to get some Dr. Pepper I had stored there. Dumped the black tank, and started back inside to get my purse when I felt like I was going to faint. Sat down in my lawn chair for a few minutes, and made it inside. Still didn't feel well after resting about 30 minutes. So I did not go to the post office. Just can't tolerate this heat like I used to. The weatherman says we will be in the 100s all week, so not much to look forward to. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day for me.
